To claim the rebate, you’ll need your purchase receipt, a completed installation form with the ‘signal receiver’ device and valid bank details

No, once your PeakSmart-compatible air-con is installed and the signal receiver is fitted, there are no ongoing costs or subscriptions tied to the rebate itself. After that it runs just like a regular air-con.

Will I notice when my air-con switches modes during a “PeakSmart event”?

Not really. The system is designed to automatically switch to a more energy-efficient mode when the electricity network is under stress. Most of the time, you won’t even notice, but if you have any issues we also provide air conditioning maintenance.

Can I still get the rebate if I already have an existing air-con?

Yes, if your existing unit is PeakSmart-compatible, we can retrofit the approved “signal receiver” and make it PeakSmart active. As long as installation and paperwork are done correctly, you may be eligible for the cashback.
